Sports Infrastructure (Play Fields)

Sports infrastructure, particularly playfields, is a crucial component of a school’s physical education program. In KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) schools, well-developed sports facilities contribute significantly to students’ overall development. Here’s an overview of the essential aspects and initiatives related to sports infrastructure in schools.
In PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Bhopal, I have specially opened gym, two basketball courts, two volleyball courts, arrangement of mattresses for Kabaddi and Taekwondo, adequate infrastructure is available for table tennis, chess, skating etc. Apart from this, two practice pitches for cricket are ready. Adequate space and guidance is available for yoga, rope jumping etc.
